P.pennsylvanica aren't particularly large or crowding sensitive, so their enclosure doesn't need to be spacious.

P.pennsylvanica aren't picky about their food and can be fed an average roach diet.

Temperature
P.pennsylvanica can be kept into the mid 60s, but grows and breeds fastest at warmer temperatures. Northern strains usually require a winter diapause in the mid 60s.
