Cubaris murina (the Little Sea Pillbug) These have a matte, almost soft finish. Although occasionally found in other isopods, like Cylisticus convexus, orange uropods seem to be the standard for this species. The Little Sea Pillbug is only known member of its genus to have established itself in the United States.

C.murina aren't particularly large or crowding sensitive, so their enclosure doesn't need to be spacious.

C.murina aren't picky about their substrate as long as it holds moisture well, isn't abrasive, and is deep enough to burrow in.

C.murina can be kept into the low 70s, but grows and breeds fastest at warmer temperatures.
